EDV Result 2026 – How to Check Your DV Lottery Status Online

The U.S. Department of State has released the EDV 2026 results. If you applied for the Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery 2026, here's how you can check your result easily online.

Step-by-Step Guide to Check EDV Result

• Go to the official DV Lottery website: dvprogram.state.gov
• Click on “Check Status”
• Enter your Confirmation Number
• Enter your Last Name and Year of Birth
• Submit the CAPTCHA and click on “Submit”

Important Notes

• You must have your original confirmation number from your EDV application.
• Check results from May 4, 2025 to September 30, 2026.

If You Are Selected

Being selected means you're eligible to apply for a U.S. immigrant visa. You will need to:

• Complete the DS-260 form
• Prepare for your visa interview
• Collect necessary documents (passport, police report, etc.)

If You Are Not Selected

You can apply again in the next lottery round (EDV 2027), usually held in October.
